Animol

In Ashley Walters’ directorial debut Animol, newcomer Troy (Tut Nyuot) is thrown into the brutal ecosystem of a British youth detention centre.

Amidst volatile gang politics and constant intimidation, Troy must navigate a dangerous hierarchy. Driven by a tense relationship with his cellmate and a frontline officer (Stephen Graham) trying to reach him, the film is a raw, high-stakes exploration of survival and humanity behind bars.
