Casting Legend of the Sword
Uni-versal Extras was the dual extras agency for Guy Ritchie’s King Arthur: Legend of the Sword feature film. The movie was filmed predominantly at Warner Bros. Studios in Hertfordshire, but there were also a number of other locations used such as Snowdonia in North Wales and the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire.
King Arthur: Legend of the Sword required extensive extras in roles such as guards, resistance fighters, thugs, Vikings, servants and everything in between! Some parts required specific skills such as archery, sword fighting and ironwork. In addition to supplying extras in remote locations across the UK, the agency also helped to cast doubles.
