Uni-versal Extras was a casting agency for What It Feels Like for A Girl, which is a new series premiering on BBC Three Inspired by Paris Lees’ raw, riotous memoir.
Uni-versal Extras supplied a wide range of extras and supporting artistes across the UK at locations including Cardiff, Newport, Treforest, Ogmore and Penarth in the Vale of Glamorgan, Urban Myth Studios and Barry Island in Wales, Portishead and Brean in Somerset, Gloucestershire, Nottingham and Bristol.
UVE also cast some featured roles and named parts for the show such as Nicki’s Girlfriend, Liam and Sasha’s Neighbours, Dennis, Alan, Gusty and a featured Police Officer. The agency also provided doubles for some of the main actors and actresses including Harry Jones who plays Sasha, Ellis Howard who plays Byron, and Alex Thomas-Smith who plays Sticky Nikki.
