I spent a fantastic evening dancing in the late Amy Winehouse's bio 'Back to Black'. We had to learn the words of the song 'Back to Black' - which obviously wasn't hard as it was a great song. This is just one of the productions I've been luckily enough to be involved with whilst signed up with Uni-versal Extras. The production teams, from directors to the runners, are so very helpful and you can't help being inspired working with them as part of a team. I don't mind when it's an early start as I know when I arrive, there is a breakfast that is seriously fit for a king and sets me up for the day. The pay is really good and if I tell you about the lunch and tea choice of meals you'd think I'm lying. Your best bet is to sign up and see for yourselves. It's one of the best things I've done in my life.

Had such a fun day working on set today. The crew & team were great and made me feel at ease. Looking forward to many more. Thanks, UVE!

Geek Girl

I was a "stand in" for one of the main cast actors - my first time doing such a role - and what an experience that was, to be so involved in the creation and setup of every scene. And to then have the main cast watch what we had created, before we swapped places and they nailed in on film. Thanks UVE for the opportunity - and to Mr Ritchie and his great team on the various filming days!

The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare

Had a great couple of days filming on location in Hertfordshire through UVE on this. [I was] working with four other SAs as band members in a scene fronted by a well-known actor. It was a good opportunity to bring my keyboards along and synchronize our playing to a backing track - it's the first time I've done that as an SA. The cast and crew were all lovely, too. Thanks UVE!
