Joan
Joan is based on the memoirs of Joan Hannington – “I Am What I Am: The True Story of Britain’s Most Notorious Jewel Thief”.
It is the story of a woman who goes between her thriving and daring career as a jewel thief, all whilst trying to get her daughter back from social services. We see a mother in despair swept up in the exhilarating world of crime.
TV Extras Cast across the Midlands & South England
Uni-versal Extras supplied extras and supporting artistes for ITV’s show Joan, starring Sophie Turner.
The majority of filming took place across the Midlands including Walsall, Birmingham, Shrewsbury, Worcestershire and Coventry. Shooting also took place in South England such as Kent and Maidenhead.
A number of picturesque locations were chosen including Chateau Impney and Herne Bay.
In addition to extras, UVE also cast some featured roles with dialogue, a stand-in for Albie and a hand double.
