Les Misérables

Filming in Portsmouth Dockyard was an experience I will never forget, it was a wonderful 2 days, and the bonus is I can be seen in the film, at the beginning. Fantastic.

I filmed in Chatham at the historic dockyard. As well as working with Russell Crowe and Anne Hathaway, I talked to Cameron Mackintosh who was impressed with the calibre of the SAs. Well done everyone on such a fabulous film!

I was lucky to be selected as an extra for this film. Working at Pinewood Studios and the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich was the greatest work experience that I have ever had. I will always treasure this for the rest of my life. Respect and God bless to everyone in this business.

I was honoured to play a convict pulling in the ship. Standing behind Hugh Jackman was unreal - what a great 2 days filming!

I was very proud when the choreographer chose me to stand next to Anne Hathaway as I had picked up the movements for the song the quickest! The highlight was sharing a joke and a chat with Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway during rehearsals.

I was originally scheduled for 3 days at Greenwich maritime museum but was also lucky enough to follow this with 9 further days at Pinewood Studios. My role was playing one of Russell Crowe's secret police captains. The whole experience was fantastic and the memories still give me chills of excitement. To have the opportunity to work alongside the likes of Russell Crowe and Eddie Redmayne is a once in a lifetime experience, one I would recommend anyone to try at least once in your life. What great stories I have to tell my grandchildren...

This was without a doubt one of the best experiences of my life. I was one of the chain gang waist-deep in water with the rain, wind, and wave machines going full pelt, but the conditions didn't seem to dampen any of our spirits and there was such a sense of camaraderie by the end of the second day. I will never forget those couple of days and being able to be a part of something so spectacular.

It was a great honour and privilege to wok on this film. There was quite a large group of us who worked as extras at Greenwich and Pinewood who still keep in touch. Great crew, and wonderful memories.

I will not ever forget the moment when Tom Hooper and the production manager chose me to work on a scene at a French barricade. It was such an honour for me to follow the directions of such great professionals.

I had a fantastic time working on this film... 10 days wearing a fabulous costume working on location at Greenwich and on set at Pinewood Film Studios.
