Based on the novel of the same name by Ian McEwan, On Chesil Beach was mainly filmed in London, Surrey, Dorset and Oxfordshire. As well as supplying extras and background artist, Uni-versal Extras also supplied specialist roles including musicians, punters and a Billy Howle double!
