Lockerbie: A Search for Truth is a new TV mini-series starring Colin Firth. When Pan Am Flight 103 explodes over Lockerbie 38 minutes after takeoff, 259 people on board and 11 on ground are killed. Dr. Jim Swire and his wife Jane seek justice after the loss of their daughter.

Uni-versal Extras provided casting support for Lockerbie: A Search for Truth, which is a new TV series starring Colin Firth.

We cast a wide range of background and supporting artistes, mostly across Scotland including at MOD Forthside and Bathgate Studios in Sterling, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Bo’ness, Lanarkshire, West Lothian, Cumbernauld and Queensferry. Filming also took place at Dunsfield Aerodrome in Surrey.

In addition to background roles, UVE provided doubles and lookalikes for some of the main cast.

My first Uni-versal Extras assignment was on Lockerbie as a 'family member'. I did five days on set in Bathgate Film Studios and what a brilliant experience. On my second day, the Director asked me to do a handshake with Colin Firth as he arrives inside the courthouse! I also clearly appear in the background for other courtroom scenes.
