Nolly

Written by BAFTA-winning writer Russell T Davies, Nolly stars Helena Bonham Carter as long-running soap-star, Noele Gordon (‘Nolly’ to her friends), of Crossroads fame.

In 1981, when Nolly was unexpectedly axed from the show without warning, this 3-episode series explores the forgotten icon’s fall from grace and takes a long hard look at the treatment of women in 1980’s media.
