The company cast a variety of roles across the UK for this period drama. Locations for filming included Dragon Studios in Bridgend, Cardiff, Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire, Berkeley Castle in Gloucestershire, St Donat’s Castle in the Vale of Glamorgan and Tretower Court in Powys. In addition to normal walk-on and background extra roles, Uni-versal Extras also cast doubles and stand-ins for the main actors and actresses.
