To sign up with Uni-versal Extras, you will first need to download the UVE Artiste app on your mobile phone. From there it’s simple, just follow the registration process one step at a time to build your profile.
You’ll then be all set to work as a background artiste for Film, TV and more!
Download the UVE Artiste App
Once the app is installed on your smartphone, click ‘Sign-Up’ to begin. After the first few screens are completed, you will be sent a link to validate your email.
Begin Building Your Profile
Using your smartphone, begin filling in your profile with some key information such as contact details and costume measurements.
Documents & Profile Pictures
Upload proof of your Right to Work in the UK/Ireland + 2 photographs (1 Head & Shoulders & 1 Full-Body). Then select your listing package.
It really is that simple to sign up with Uni-versal Extras! Pretty much anyone can work as an Extra / Supporting Artiste… there is no experience necessary and all the roles we offer are paid.
To register with UVE you must –
🎬 Be 16½ years old or above (note. there is no upper age limit!)
🎬 Have the right to work in the UK and/or Ireland
So whether you’re a student in the middle of your education, working a part-time job, a stay at home parent or even if you retired years ago, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t consider work as an Supporting Artiste as a great way to supplement your income with entertaining part-time roles.
