4 Unsuspecting Places You’ll Spot UVE Extras
Whilst we absolutely love getting to work on lots of incredible TV and Film projects, they certainly aren’t the only opportunities that come our way.
As a matter of fact, there’s a whole wide world of content that you may not know features a healthy handful of UVE Artistes – from online social media adverts, to video games.
We thought we might take a look at some campaigns from the last few years which don’t fall under the umbrella of TV or Film, and highlight some surprising places that our talented Artistes will pop up.
Here are 4 production types, and some notable campaigns you may remember, that also often require the help of an Extra from time to time…
COMMERCIALS 📺
Gucci
In celebration of the brilliant Stanley Kubrick, Gucci launched the Exquisite Gucci Campaign, incorporating their 2022 autumn/winter collection into scenes from many of Kubrick’s cult classics. Included is 2001: A Space Odyssey, A Clockwork Orange, Barry Lyndon, Eyes Wide Shut and The Shining.

Haribo
That’s right – the Haribo campaign that swept the nation.
This commercial for Haribo Supermix saw an array of Featured UVE Artistes stepping into the shoes of rock band members with a sweet tooth!

Harry Styles, Adore You
Next time you’re watching Harry Styles’ music video for the smash-hit ‘Adore You‘, make sure you keep your eyes peeled for the many various Villagers found populating the video’s seaside fishing town.
Liam Gallagher, Paper Crown
UVE also provided a body double for ‘Paper Crown‘ – the solo music video from Oasis’ Liam Gallagher.
Take note of the shots where leading female, played by Sienna Guillory, faces away from the camera or appears as a mirror image!

Pedigree – Dog Dates
Pet care brand, Pedigree, launched ‘Dog Dates’ in partnership with Age UK and Campaign to End Loneliness.
Aimed at helping the older community keep active beside man’s best friend, Pedigree sought the help of UVE to find some friendly faces to accompany their campaign…
VIDEO GAMES 🎮
Yes indeed; you read that right.
You will now even be able to spot a healthy dose of UVE faces in some of your favourite video games.
This is because the gaming industry is now making moves towards building even more realistic character avatars by using real-life Artiste likeness.
UVE have been part of many opportunities, both in the UK and abroad, where our Artistes have stepped into digital worlds on-screen using the latest technology in Photogrammetry (a.k.a. ‘3D Character Scanning’).
Keep watch for many upcoming video games where a few familiar faces may be wandering about in the background!
