Film Open Castings in Scotland

Uni-versal Extras are holding open castings in Edinburgh and Glasgow for new members to register as film & TV extras in Scotland.

Open Registration Days for Film & TV Extras

DO NOT Attend if you are already a Fully Activated Extra with Uni-versal Extras

Please only attend an Open Casting if you are new to Uni-versal Extras or if your profile with us is NOT activated (i.e. if you are not able to apply for jobs on our website or if you do not have any suitable photos uploaded). If you are already a member, you are already being considered for any roles that you are suitable for in your area.

What you need to do before attending an Open Casting

Go to our homepage and click Register as an Extra. You will be taken step-by-step to complete a profile – please stop when you get to the ‘My Photos’ section. When you attend one of the Open Castings we will take your photos and you will get a FREE 1 YEAR LISTING as an extra with us on our website.

You don’t need to bring anything on the day apart from yourself! It is free to attend the casting and to have your photos taken.

Central Edinburgh Open Casting – Registration Day for Film & TV Extras

Saturday 14th April 2018 | 10am-4pm

Location: Radisson Blu Hotel, 80 High Street, The Royal Mile, Edinburgh EH1 1TH
Timings: arrive at any time between 10am-4pm

This casting is open to the General Public. No experience necessary.
You must be aged 16½ or older with the right to work in the UK.

Central Glasgow Open Casting – Registration Day for Film & TV Extras

Sunday 15th April 2018 | 10am-4pm

Location: The Studio Glasgow, 67 Hope Street, Glasgow EH1 1TH
Timings: arrive at any time between 10am-4pm

This casting is open to the General Public. No experience necessary.
You must be aged 16½ or older with the right to work in the UK.
