Here at Uni-versal Extras, we recently added the functionality to allow extras to pay their listing fee online via our website, 24/7. We also changed our registration structure to provide more flexibility when choosing your listing. Read on for details on how you can get involved as a film & TV extra!
Flexibility When Choosing Your Listing
Your listing package can now be selected as part of the standard step-by-step process when registering as an extra. If you need to pay a Listing Fee you will be prompted to do so after uploading your photos.
This new functionality allows you to complete your registration at any time, 24/7, using a valid credit or debit card.
After the listing package has been selected, your profile will be prioritised for activation. A member of our Activation Team will then call you once your application has been reviewed.

New Listing Fee Options
Once you have completed your online profile with us and uploaded your photos, you will be prompted to select your listing.
Our standard Listing Fees are as follows –
1 Year for just £30 (save £30*)
2 Years for just £50 (save £70*)

*Savings are based on the cost of a listing if you do not pay upfront, in which case £60 will be deducted from the first work payment each year

2 Years for just £25+VAT (£30 incl. VAT)

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Listing Fee a one-off payment?
Yes, you only pay once for the duration chosen – it is not a recurring fee and does not renew automatically.
Is upfront payment mandatory?
If you choose to pay your listing fee upfront you will receive a big discount, but it is not mandatory. You can alternatively wait and have a 1-year listing fee deducted from your first payment, but this will significantly reduce the chance of you securing work. The main reason for this is that you will not be part of our Priority Casting Database until you are activated, so you will only be contacted about roles where criteria cannot be met by our full members. I am having trouble with my full body picture, what can I do?
To be able to select your listing package, you must have uploaded a full body photo as part of the application process. The good news is, as long as your Head & Shoulders photo gets approved, you can be activated without an approved full body photo if you have paid upfront for your listing.
However, it is important that you re-take and upload a new photo ASAP because unless you have an approved full body photo on your profile, this will severely limit the number of opportunities that we can offer you. You will also not be able to use the Job Board on our website unless you have the minimum two photos uploaded. For more help with photos, please click here.
