I remember my first job with UVE, I was working as an Extra in a feature film called Polite Society.

We were shooting a fight scene with all the Extras around the sides cheering it on, then suddenly the director started calling my name. Perhaps she had remembered me from the previous day working. I didn’t know what to think, then she said ‘how would you like to be kicked in the face?’ and I replied ‘yes, I’m up for that’, and so, I got my first featured role, creating a comedic scene.

I remember practicing with the stunt double that was on set at the time to make it look as real as I could. Still one of my funniest and most memorable experiences on set, and it was even better when it came out in cinemas, and I got to hear the audience chuckle and laugh at the funny moment.
