Film Extras Open Castings in Oxford & Birmingham
Uni-versal Extras are holding open castings in Birmingham and Oxford for new members to register as film & TV extras in June. If you want to work as a film and TV extra, we look forward to seeing you!
Open Casting Registration Days
Am I Eligible To Attend?
Please only attend an Open Casting if you are new to Uni-versal Extras or if your profile with us is NOT activated (i.e. if you cannot apply for jobs via our website). If you are already a full member, you are already being considered for any roles that you are suitable for in your area.
What you need to do before attending an Open Casting
Go to our homepage and click Register as an Extra. You will be taken step-by-step to complete a profile – please stop when you get to the ‘My Photos’ section. When you attend one of the Open Castings we will take your photos and you will get a FREE 1 YEAR LISTING as an extra with us on our website. It is free to attend the casting and to have your photos taken.
You don’t need to bring anything on the day apart from yourself!

Location: The Studio Birmingham, 7 Cannon Street, Birmingham, B2 5EP
Timings: arrive at any time between 10am-4pm
This casting is open to the General Public. No experience necessary.
You must be aged 16½ or older with the right to work in the UK.
